Overview

A 2004 Sea Ray 390 Sundancer lying at Dubai Marina, one of the most successful mid-cabin sports cruisers of her generation. Twin MerCruiser 8.1 litre Horizon petrol V-drive inboards, 370 hp each, gave this model a tested cruise in the low twenties and around 30 knots flat out, with the V-drive layout keeping the weight aft and the accommodation full-beam. Below deck she is arranged as a genuine two-cabin boat: an island double forward, a mid cabin aft under the cockpit, and a convertible salon between them, sleeping six. Sea Ray split the head into two compartments on this model, a toilet and basin to port and a separate shower stall to starboard, which is why the salon feels like a larger boat's. High-gloss cherry joinery, a full galley with stove, microwave and refrigerator, and a washer dryer complete the interior. She is equipped for the Gulf: a Westerbeke generator running two AC lines, air conditioning in three zones covering the forward cabin, salon and cockpit, a bow thruster for close-quarters handling, Raymarine electronics with radar, and an extended bathing platform.
